In the Name of God Amen
I Margaret Guy being in perfect health and memory Do make
this my last Will and Testament in manner following First I
I do give and bequeath my Soul unto Almighty God hoping to
be saved by and through the meritts and mediation of our Lord
Jesus Christ our Saviour and Redeemer I give my Body to the
Earth to be buried privately in the Parish Church where I am
at the time of my Death Imprimis I give and bequeath unto
my Cousin Mrs Margaret Lowth my two Diamond Rings and
the mourning Ring I had in remembrance of Master Chris: Pitt
and all my best Household Linnen Item I do give and bequeath 
unto her two Daughters Margaret and Mary each of them One
Hundred pounds to be put forth to Interest or improve for
them untill the youngest come to the Age of sixteen and then
divided betwixt them And if either of them dye unmarried this
whole money to go to the survivor and if both to the younger
Children Item unto my Cousin Margaret the Elder of these 
Children my Six Silver Spoons markt with M:G: Item I do 
give and bequeath unto my Cousin Elizabeth Pitt the Daughter
of my Cousin John Pitt the summe of Ten pound Item I do
give and bequeath unto the Wife of Doctor Robert Pitt Master
Thomas and Mr John and Doctor Christopher Pitts Wife a
Guinea to buy each a Ring of that value each Ring Item I doe
give and bequeath unto Elnor Hobgood all my wearing Apparrell
my Bed and other Goods that is mine in the Room with the
ordinary Linnen that is in common use and Ten pound in money
the China I give unto my Cousin Mrs Lowth Item I give and
bequeath unto Mrs Elizabeth Hardress the Daughter of Mrs Charles
Hardress the House and Land to it that is in the Parish of 
Hards in Kent when she is at the Age of One and Twenty she
giving Mr John Dennett a full and general Release of all accou???
Item I do give and bequeath unto my Cousin Mr John Dennett 
my Annuity that is for his Life in the Exchequer as long as 
please God he shall Live And I do give unto the said Mr John
Dennett whatsoever Bill or Bond or Note or Money that is


mine at my Decease my Legacys and Funerall Charges being
paid And do make and appoint him my full and sole Executor
of this my last Will and Testament Witness my hand this seventh
of November One Thousand Seven hundred and Nine  Margaret
Guy

		Tenth of November 1711
Which day appeared personally Eleanor Hobgood
of the Parish of St Antholine London Spinster Aged Thirty
years and upwards and Edward Harper of the same Parish
Aged about Twenty Three Years and being severall sworne 
upon the Holy Evangelists of God to swear and depose the truth
did severally swear and depose that they very well knew and were 
acquainted with Mrs Margaret Guy late of the same Parish
Spinster Deceased (vizt) this Deponent Eleanor Hobgood hath
known and been acquainted with her above the space of Twenty
Years and this Dept Harper hath known and been acquainted 
with her by the space of Six Years and they both depose That
they have several times seen her write and are very well
acquainted with her manner and character of handwriting
and having now seen and perused the paper writing hereunto
annexed purporting the last Will and Testament of the said
deceased begining thus vizt In the Name of God Amen I Margaret
Guy being in perfect health and memory and Ending thus (vizt)
Witness my hand this Seventh of November One thousand Seven
Hundred and Nine they do verily believe the same to be all of
the proper hand writing of the said Margaret Guy And also
the name (Margaret Guy) thereto also sett and subscribed to be
likewise of her proper handwriting  Elner Hobgood  Edward
Harper
