In the Name of God Amen
I John Green of the Town and County of Poole being through
Mercy in perfect Health of Body and Mind and remembring the
uncertainty of this Life do make ordain constitute and appoint
this to be my last Will and Testament in Form and manner
following Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife
Mary Green all and every such Sum or Sums of Money Goods
Chattels and Effects of what Kind or sort soever that I now have
or shall have hereafter and do make her my sole Executrix
she paying only the following Legacies To my beloved Sisters
Grace and Elizabeth Green to each of them the Sum of ten
pounds Sterlg to be paid within ten Months after my decease
and this I do declare to be my last Will and Testament and
revoking all former Wills without better form according to
Law Writeen with my own Hand and sealed with my Seal
in Poole this fifteenth Day of July in the Year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred and sixty one  Jno Green

		29 September 1763
Which day appeared personally William Kittier
of Ringwood in the County of Southampton Merchant and
Richard Corpe of the Town and County of Poole Notary Publick
and being sworn on the Holy Evangelists to depose the Truth
made Oath as followeth that they these Deponents knew and



were well acquainted with John Green late of the Town of
Poole in the County of the Town of Poole deceased for
many years before and to the time of his Death and also
with his manner and Character of hand Writing having often
seen him write and subscribe his Name and having now
carefully viewed the paper Writing hereunto annexed purporting
to be and contain the last Will and Testament of the said
deceased beginning thus "In the Name of God Amen I John
Green of the Town and County of Poole being through
Mercy in perfect Health of Body and mind and remembring
the uncertainty of this Life do make ordain constitute and
appoint this to be my last Will and Testament" and ending thus
"written with my own Hand and sealed with my Seal in Poole
"this fifteenth Day of July in the Year of our Lord one thousand
"seven hundred and sixty one" and thus subscribed Jno Green  they these
Deponents say that they do verily and in their Consciences
believe the whol series and Contents of the said paper
writing beginning ending and subscribed as aforesaid to be
all of the proper Hand Writing and Subscription of the said
deceased  Wm Kittier  Richd Corpe  Same day the said
William Kittier and Richard Corpe were duly sworn to the
Truth of this Affidavit before me  W Nairn Commissioner

This Will was proved at London the seventh Day
of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
and sixty three before the Right Worshipful Sir Edward
Simpson Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary
of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by
the Oath of Mary Green Widow the Relict of the deceased and
sole Executrix named in the said Will to whom administration
was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits
of the said deceased having been first sworn by Commission duly
to administer
