In the name of God Amen the Twenty
seaventh day of February in the yeare of our Lord One Thousand six
hundred eighty and foure I Joseph Gigger of Dorchester in the County of 
Dorsett Grocer Knowing that all Men must die and therefore tis good
alwaies to bee provided being of good and perfect memorie praised bee the 
Almighty Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in
manner and forme following Imprimis I committ my soule into the hand of 
Almighty God my most mercifull father and my body to a Christian buriall
in hopes of a glorious Resurrection both of soule and body in and through
the only meritts of Jesus Christ my most mercifull Saviour and Redeemer
and for my worldly      	goods which God in his mercy hath
lent mee after my iust and due Debts being paid and satisfied I give and 
bequeath as followeth Item I give and bequeath unto my eldest sonne 
George Gigger Twenty shillings to bee paid him when hee come to bee of
the age of One and twenty yeares old Item I give and bequeath unto my
second sonne Joseph Gigger the summer of One hundred pounds of lawfull
English mony to bee paid unto him when hee shall bee of the age of one and 
twenty yeares old Item I give and bequeath unto my youngest sonne John
Gigger the summe of One hundred pounds of good and lawfull English
mony to bee paid him when hee comes to bee of the age of One and 
Twenty yeares old All the rest of my goods and Chattells as well
moveable as unmoveable I give and bequeath unto George Gigger 
Joseph Gigger and John Gigger my three sonns whom I make and 
ordaine my joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament hopeing 
they will faithfully fullfill the same in all things And farther if it shall
soe happen that either the aforesaid George Gigger Joseph Gigger or 
John Gigger shall dye before they come to bee of the age of one and 
Twenty Yeares old his part shall bee equally divided betweene the 
other two borthers which shall happen then to bee living Lastly I shall
desire my brother George Gigger of Wareham in the County of Dorsett
Mercer and my brother Morgan Deavenesh of Charmester in the same
County Yeoman to bee overseers of this my last Will and Testament 
In witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and
yeare above written Joseph Gigger Signed Sealed and published in the 
presence of us the marker of Live Seneior Robert Lemon Isreall Cloatt
