In the name of God Amen the Eight day of February in the Third Yeare of the 
Reigne of our sovraigne Lord King James the second of England &c Annoq Dni 1686 I Robert Farwell of
Poole in the County of Dorsett Marriner beeing of good health of Boddy and of sound and perfect 
minde and memory Thanks bee to God Knowing the Uncertainty of this Naturall life and beeing desirous 
to settle things in Order before I dye Doe make and Declare this my last will and Testament in
maner and forme Following That is to say first and principally I Comend nad Comitt my soul and 
Boddy unto the hands of Allmighty God my Maker and Creator and of Jesus Christ my Onely Saviour and 
Redeemer of whose mercy and allsuffisient Merritts I beleive Assuredly to have and Obteine full and free 
Pardon and Remisson of all my Sinns and offences and to Inheritt Eternall Life in the Kingdom of heaven
with other the Elect Children of God, My Boddy I will shall bee Buried in Christian Buriall att the 
Discretion of the Executrix of this my Last will and Testament hereunder named in Gods appointed time 
And for the worldly Estate which the Lord in mercy hath lent mee my Will and desire is that after my
Decease All & singuler my Goods and Chattells plate pewter Brss Linnen woollen Iren Brass Earthen ware &
other wares & mrchandizes Debts to mee Oweing Ready mony and things whatsoever moveable and 
unmoveable, as well uppon the water as shore which I shall Leave behinde mee (First of all
my Debts beeing paid and Funerall Expences Discharged) I doe give and Bequeath unto my
Loveing wife Dorothy Farwell and her Heirs  whom I doe make and Appoint sole Executrix of this 
my Last will and Testament, And I doe hereby renounce Revoke make null and void all other 
wills Either by word or Writeing by mee made formerly, Declareing these prsents to bee my Onely and Last 
Will and Testament, In Wittnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale the Day and Yeare 
First above written
