In the name of God Amen I
Abraham Evans of the City of Bristoll Marriner being in good 
health of Body and of sound and perfect minde and memorie praise be therefore 
given to Almighty God Doe make and ordaine this my present last Will and
Testament in manner and forme following that is to say First and principally 
I commend my soule into the hands of Almighty God hopeing through the 
meritts death and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon 
and forgivenesse of all my sinns and to inheritt everlasting life my Body I
Comitt to the earth &c to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor 
hereafter named or any other person or persons I may bee with And as touching 
the disposall of such Temporall estate as it hath pleased God to bestow upon
mee I give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprs first I will that my debts and 
funerall Charges shall bee Discharged 2d I give unto my Father Wm Evans 
and mother in law Martha his wife and my sister in law Martha Evans twenty 
pounds to buy them mourning Cloaths for to bee disposed of as they shall thinke meete
Item I give unto my brother in Law Thomas Bilbie and my sister Virtue 
his wife Twenty pounds ?? mourning clothes or as they shall see meete Item I give 
unto my beloved freinds Nathaniel Kill to whom I comitt the care of this 
instrument one guinea for a Token to be kept by him in memory of mee Item I 
give and appoynt Tenne pounds to bee appropriated to the uses following 
vizt five pounds to be given to such poore and indigent persons as they may
see fitt to bestowe it on the other five pounds to bee laid  out in Cloaths 
or other necessaries for my kinswoman Mary Penry to bee laid out at the 
discretion of my abovesaid freind Nathaniel Kill and my sole Executor Isaac Evans 
Item I give unto my dearly beloved freind Elizabeth Templeman Junr one Guinea 
for a mourning ring and if shee will accept thereof five pound ?? buying mourning 
The Rest and Residue of my personall estate goods and Chattells whatsoever 


I doe give and bequeath to my loving brother Isaac Evans whom I make my full and 
sole Executor of this my last will and Testament And I doe hereby revoke disannull
and make void All former Wills and Testaments by mee heretofore made In
witnesse whereof I the said Abraham Evans to this my last Will and Testament 
being contained in one sheete of paper doe hereto sett my hand and seale the 
Twenty sixth day of August One Thousand seaven hundred and one Abram
Evans Signed sealed and delivered in the prsence of Hen Newton Aban Knight 
Thomas Kill Senr
