In the Name of God Amen
I Martha Durell late of the Town and County of Poole


but now of Willenhall in the parish of Wolverhampton
in the County of Stafford Widow being Weak in Body but 
of sound Mind Memory and Understanding (praised be God 
do make this my last Will and Testament as follows First 
I will that all my debts and Funeral Expences be fully
paid I Give to my Nephew Thomas Hinckes of Willenhall
aforesaid all my pictures and to his son Thomas Hinckes
I Give and bequeath One hundred pounds I Give and
bequeath unto my Nephew John Hinckes of Willenhall
aforesaid Ironmonger One Annuity or yearly sum of
Ten Pounds for and during the Term of his Natural Life 
only to be paid him by my Executor hereinafter named
clear of all deductions the first of the said payments to
be made that Day Twelve months next after my decease 
I Give and bequeath to my Cousin Mary Riley the
sum of Fifty pounds and my late daughter Sarah
Hawkesfords black silk sack white silk Ground Brocaded 
Gown and Cotton Gown Also I Give and bequeath to
Miss Mary Cleeves daughter of Elizabeth Cleeves of
Poole aforesaid Widow my Silver Coffee pot marked 
S.H. and one Silver Chased Salver also marked S.H. I
also Give and bequeath to William Hinckes another
of the sons of my said Nephew Thomas Hinckes One
hundred pounds I Give and bequeath unto my
Kinswoman Mary Hinckes daughter of my said Nephew
Thomas Hinckes the sum of Four hundred pounds to be
paid to her by my Executor when she attains her age of 
Twenty one years with Interest for the same after the
Rate of Four pounds per Cent per Annum from the 
Time of my decease Also I Give to the said Mary Hinckes 
all the Residue of my Plate Rings Gold Watch Jewels
China Linnen and wearing Apparel of all Sorts made 
and unmade I Give to my Sister in Law Sarah
Hawkesford Spinster Five pounds to buy her a Ring I Give 
to my Kinsman Joseph Hinckes and to my Nephews 
David Durell and Thomas Durell and to Mary Casley
Wife of Thomas Casley Five Guineas each to buy them
Rings I Give and bequeath to Mary the Daughter of 
the said Thomas Casley Twenty pounds also I Give 
and bequeath unto Mrs Devall daughter of Robert
Young of Poole aforesaid Merchant Twenty pounds To
my Godsons Joseph Young and Aaron Young I Give and
bequeath Thirty pounds each I Give and bequeath unto
Thomas Young Robert Young and Spence Young sons of
the said Robert Young the Sum of Twenty pounds each with
equal Benefit of Survivorship between them the said
Joseph Young Aaron Young Thomas Young Robert
Young and Spence Young I Give and bequeath unto
Margaret the daughter of Eli Robertson of Rudgely in
the said County of Stafford Twenty pounds and to 
Elizabeth Becket Widow I Give and bequeath Twenty
pounds and I will and direct that all the said Legacys and


Bequests be Paid and payable within Twelve Months next
after my decease except the said Legacy of Four Hundred
pounds to the said Mary Hinckes which is to be paid to her
at her Age of Twenty one years I Give devise and bequeath 
unto my said Nephew Thomas Hinckes all my Right Title 
Estate and Interest of in and to the Town House and
Bathing House in Poole aforesaid To hold unto him my
said Nephew Thomas Hinckes his Heirs and Assigns
for ever All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my
Real and personal Estate whatsoever (after payment
of my Debts Legacys and Funeral Expences) I Give 
devise and bequeath unto my said nephew Thomas Hinckes
for ever and do appoint him sole Executor and residuary
Legatee of this my Will and revoking all former Wills
by me made do publish and declare this to be my last 
Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have 
hereunto put my Hand and Seal this Eighth Day of
February in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven
hundred and sixty seven  Martha Durell  signed
sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix Martha
Durell as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence 
of us who at her Request in her presence and in the 
presence of each other have subscribed our Names as
Witnesses hereto first observing an Obliteration in the
Thirteenth Line to be computed from the beginning 
Anne Morris  Edward Davies  Michl Humpage

This Will was proved at London on the sixteenth
Day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven
hundred and sixty seven before the Worshipful George 
Harris Doctor of Laws and Surrogate of the Right Worshipful
George Hay also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary
of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted 
by the Oath of Thomas Hinckes the Nephew of the deceased 
and sole Executor named in the said Will to whom
Administration of all and Singular the Goods Chattels
and Credits of the said Deceased was granted he having
been first sworn duly to Administer
