This is the last Will
and Testament of me George Durell of the Town and County
of Pool Merchant made this fifth day of March in
the year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and
eighty one as follows First I will that all my Just
Debts and Funeral Expences be paid and discharged Item



I give and bequeath to my Grandson David Durell
Bird my Metal Watch in a Shagreen Case and to my
Grandson George Durell Bird my Silver Watch with the
Sun and Moon on the Dial Plate Item I give and bequeath
unto my Son in Law John Bird and to my Daughter
Ann Farwell Bird one Mourning Ring each All the rest
residue and remainder of my Lands Tenements and
Hereditaments whatsoever situate in the Town of Pool
aforesaid or elsewhere together with all my Ships Vessels
Merchandizes Moneys Moneys in the Publick Funds
or on other Securities Goods and Chattels Plantations
or Fishing Rooms in Newfoundland and with the Dwelling
Houses and Storehouses Stages Vessels and Fishing Craft
thereto belonging and all other my Estates both Real
and Personal I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved
Wife Ann Durell and to her Heirs Executors and Admors
to and for her sole use and Benefit And I do hereby
nominate constitute and appoint her my said Wife
sole Executrix of this my Will hereby revoking and
making void all former Wills by me made and declaring
this only to be my true last Will and Testament In
Witness whereof I the said George Durell have hereto
set my Hand and Seal the day and year first above
written  Geo Durell  Signed Sealed Published and declared
by the said Testator George Durell as and for his last
Will and Testament in the presence of us wh in his
presenced and in the presence of each other have subscribed

On the fourteenth day
of March in the Year of Our Lord one
thousand seven hundred and Eighty six Administration
with the Will annexed of all and singular the Goods
Chattels and Credits of George Durell late of the Town
and County of Poole deceased was granted to Ann
Farwell Bird Wife of John Bird the natural lawful and
only Child of the said deceased she having been first
sworn by Commission duly to administer Ann Durell
Widow the Relict of the said deceased sole Executrix
and Residuary Legatee named in the said Will dying
in the Life time of the said Testator


On the 7th day of July 1803
