In the Name of God Amen
I William Dale of Street in the parish of Christchurch in the County
of Southton Gent Do make this my last Will and Testament in
manner following First I give and bequeath my imortall soul
into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping through the
merits of my Saviour Jesus Christ to receive forgiveness of all my
sins and to inherit everlasting life And my body I commit to
the earth to be decently interred And whereas I have already 
settled and disposed of part of my worldly Estate I give and
dispose of the remainder thereof as followesth I give and devise 
to my Son William Dale his Heirs and Assigns for ever All
those Lands which I purchased of John Windover and his Wife 
And also all the Lands I purcahsed of James BAker and his Wife
I give to my Daughter Hanah Dale Five hundred pounds 
And to my Daughter Sarah Dale the like sume of five hundred
pounds which said sumes of Five hundred pounds shall be paid 
to my said Daughters in manner following (that is to say) Four
hundred pounds apeece to each of my said two Daughtesr within twelve 
moneths after my decease and one hundred pounds a piece to
each of them my said Daughters on their respectives dayes of 
marriage Provided they marry by and with the advice of my
sons William and John or one of them but in case my said 
Daughters or either of them shall dye before their respective 
marriages the said one hundred pounds a piece before given
and to be paid on their marriage of them or either of them so
dyeing shall remaine to and on her and their respective deaths
be equally divided between my sons William John and 
Thomas And I do desire my said Daughters to have the advice
of my said Sons William and John or one of them in their
marriages And my will is that in case my said Daughters or
either of them shall marry without such advice that then they or
such of them as shall so marry shall not have the said one
hundred pounds to be paid to her or them as aforesaid on their 
dayes of marriage but the same shall goe and remaine to my
sons William John and Thomas to be equally divided between
them I give to my son Thomas Dale two hundred pounds I give 


to my Daughter Elizabeth Wife of John Smith Fifty pounds to be 
paid within twelve moneths after my decease I give to Henry
Holloway son of my Daughter Martha eighty pounds to be paid 
to him at his age of one and twenty years and in the meantime
the Interest of Four pounds per Anno for the same shall be paid 
him by my Exeuctor towards his education But if the said Henry
happen to dye before he shall attaine the said age of one and twenty
years the said Eighty pounds shall remaine to and on his death be
equally divided between my sons William John and Thomas I
give to my son John Smith and to my Grandson John Smith and
to his son John Smith and to my cousens Patience Elizabeth
Sarah and Grace Daughters of my sister Patience Smith one
Guinea a piece I give to Sarah Corns Daughter of my Cousen
Sarah ten pounds to be paid her within twelve moneths after my
decease Provided her Father give and settles to her the House he 
has bought of or is mortgaged to him by her Brother Nicholas 
Deane or give her the money due thereupon I give to the poore
of parish of Christchurch Five pounds I give to my Grandsons
William Dale John Dale and James Dale twenty guineas a piece
I give to my son John Dale twenty Guineas All the rest of my
Goods undisposed of my debts and Legacies first paid I give to
my son William Dale whom I make Executor of this my Will
Revoking all other Wills In witness whereof I have hereunto
sett my hand and seal the Tenth day of March In the Fourth
year of the Reign of Queen Anne over England &c Annoq Dni
1704  Wm Dale  Signed Sealed published and decalred 
by the said Testator Wm Dale in the presence of us who do 
subscribe and attest the same in the presence of the said Testator
