In the name of God Amen I Edward Dackombe of the 
Burrough of Corfe Castle in the Isle of Purbeck and County of Dorsett being by the
Providence of Almight God in sound and perfect mind and memory Doe make this my
last will and testament in manner and forme following that is to say First I bequeath
my Soule to God that gave it trusting to bee saved by the meritts of my only Saviour
and Redeemer Jesus Christ and my body to the earth from whence it came hopeing for a 
joyfull Resurreccon at the day of our Lord Jesus And secondly as to that estate wherewth
it hath pleased Almighty God of his goodnesse to blesse mee my will is to dispose 
thereof in manner and forme following that is to say my will is that all my goods chells 
Lands and Tenements revertion and revertions lyeing and being in the parish of Corfe 
Castle and Island aforesaid (excepting what is included in the Deed wch I made
in marriage for a Joynture for my wife) with the profitts thereof and liberty and
power for my Executors in trust hereafter named to fill up estates and to grant 
Leases and to sell the Fee of any part of my said lands tenements or revercons (if
it shall soe seeme necessarie and convenient to my said Executors and the mony
thereof soe raised shall bee imployed for the payment of my Debts and 
maintenance and advantage of my children, and my will is that after my debts 
are discharged that my said goods chattells Lands tenements and revertions 
shall bee charged with the raiseing of Foure hundred pounds for a porcon for
my Daughter Elizabeth to bee paid if shee marry with the Consent of my said
Executors at her age of One and Twenty yeares or bee married and of foure
hundred pounds for a porcon for my Sonne Edward to bee paid to him at his age of 
one and Twenty yeares and after the said summes shalbee soe raised for the use
of my said Sonne and Daughter my will is that the profitt interest and advantage 
of the remainder of my said estate that is of and in all my Lands tenements and
revercons shall bee for the only use of my eldest sonne and his heires forever And
of this my last will and Testament I make my loveing wife my brother in law
Mr Lawrence St Loe Mr Thomas St Loe Mr Roger Clavell of Steple and
Giles Frampton Esquire to bee my Executors in trust and doe give them full
power and authoritie to order and dispose of my estate as I have before declared and
exprest to the uses above specified paying themselves their expences out of the profits
of my said estate which they shall lay out in executeing my said will and allowing an
giveing to each of them a gold ring of the value of Twenty shillings as a token of my love
and thanks to them for undertakeing the charge in executeing my will as aforesaid In
witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the thirteenth day of Aprill


in the yeare of our Lord one thousand Six hundred seaventie and seaven Edward
Dackombe Signed Sealed published and declared to bee my last will and testament in the
presence of signed Anne Arrer Darkas Vey

Item my will is that my very Loveing Neighbour Giles Frampton Esqr bee
Executor in Trust of this my last will and testament in the roome of Mr Samuel
Gregory deceased Item I give unto my Daughter Margaret foure hundred pounds to 
bee paid her under the same Condicons with her sister Elizabeth But my will is that
if any or either of my younger Children dye the Survivor or Survivors shall have either
or each of them Five hundred pounds to bee paid as above said In witnesse whereunto
I have set my hand and seale the twenty eighth day October one thousand Six hundred
eighty Edward Dackombe Signed Sealed and published to bee my last will and testamt 
in the presence of John Newman Rector of Knowle Elizabeth Gregory
