This is the Last Will
and Testament of me Richard Cull of Addleton in
the County of Dorset yeoman made and Published this 
third Day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand 
Seven hundred and Seventy two as follows First I Give and
Devise unto my natural Son Richard by Elizabeth
Bacon Spinster otherwise Elizabeth Channing the
Widow of William Channing formerly of West Mill
in the County of Dorset Corn Grinder deceased All
that my Freehold Estate at Cappelstone Purchased of
John Cockraing To have and To hold the same unto
him the said Richard his Heirs and Assigns for ever
I Give Devise and bequeath unto Stephen White the 
Younger of Wareham in the said County of Dorset 
Malster and Brewer Robert Bacon of West Mill
aforesaid Paper Maker and Miller and Thomas Bartlet 
of Wareham aforesaid Gentleman All those my Several
and respective Leasehold Livings and Estates Situate in
the Manor of Kingston in the Isle of Purbeck in the
County of Dorset aforesaid held under George Pitt
Esquire with their each and every of their Rights Members 
and Appurts To have and to hold the same and every part 
thereof unto them the said Stephen White Robert Bacon
and Thomas Barlett and unto the Survivors and
Survivor of them and unto the Executors Admors and assigns
of such Survivor for and during all the rest residue and 


Remainder of all and every such Several and respective
Term and Terms of years or other Estate that shall or will
be Severally and respectively to come therein at my decease 
Not for their own Use and benefit But Upon this special
Trust and Confidence that they the said Stephen White 
Robert Bacon and Thomas Bartlett and the Survivors 
and Survivor of them and the Executors Admors and assigns 
of such Survivor do and shall from time to time Let
and Set the same and out of the yearly rents and profits 
thereof Do and shall pay One Annuity or yearly Sum of 
Seven pounds Clear of all Deductions by two equal half
Yearly Payments unto my Daughter Elizabeth the Wife of 
John Budden yearly and every year for and during the Term
of her Natural life And Upon this further Trust
and Confidence to Pay out of such Rents and profits one
other Annuity or yearly Sum of Twenty pounds Clear of all
Deductions unto Molly the Wife of John Pyke Esquire 
yearly and every year for and during the Term of her natural 
life by two equal half yearly payments To and for her 
Sole use and benefit whose receipt alone notwithstanding her
Coverture shall be Good discharges from time to time for 
the same And upon this further Trust and Confidence 
to pay and apply the residue of the Rents and profits thereof
equally between my said Natural Son Richard and the
above named Elizabeth Bacon Spinster otherwise Elizabeth
Channing Widow and the Survivor of them and the Executors 
Admors and Assigns of such Survivor during the remainder 
of the several Term and Terms of years to come therein
I Also Give and bequeath unto them the said Stephen 
White Robert Bacon and Thomas Bartlett All my Stock
of Cattle of every Sort and Kind Implements of Husbandry
Corn and Grain of every Sort which at my Decease shall
be Feeding or depasturing Standing Growing or being on or
any ways belonging to or deemed as part of my Stock and
Crop of a Farm called Addleton Farm In Trust only
that they the said Stephen White Robert Bacon and 
Thomas Bartlett and the Survivors and Survivor of them
and the Executors Admors and Assigns of such Survivor 
Do and shall as soon as is Convenient after my decease 
make Sale of the same and do place the money arising
by Sale thereof out at Interest and pay and apply the 
Interest yearly equally between my said natural Son
Richard and the said Elizabeth Bacon Spinster otherwise 
Elizabeth Channing Widow til the said Richard shall
attain his Age of Twenty one years and as soon as he
shall attain that Age Then to Divide the said principal
Sum together with all Interest then due thereon equally
between him the said Richard and her the said Elizabeth
Bacon spinster otherwise Elizabeth Channing Widow But
in Case the said Richard Shall happen to Dye before his
Age of Twenty one years Then In Trust to pay the
Principal and Interest to her the said Elizabeth Bacon


Spinster otherwise Elizabeth Channing Widow I Also Give
and bequeath unto them the said Stephen White Robert
Bacon and Thomas Bartlett and unto the Survivors and
Survivor of them and the Executors Admors and Assigns
of such Survivor my Lease of a Farm called Scoles Farm
together with all the Stock and Crop thereon and utensils 
in Husbrandry thereof In Trust to Permit and Suffer my
said Natural Son Richard and the said Elizabeth Bacon
Spinster otherwise Elizabeth Channing Widow To hold and 
Enjoy the same for and During the remainder of the Term 
to come in such Lease And at the Expiration of such Lease 
Then to Dispose of such Stock Crop and Utensils in
husbandry and pay and Divide the Money arising by 
Sale thereof equally between him the said Richard and
her the said Elizabeth Bacon Spinster otherwise 
Elizabeth Channing Widow I Also Give and bequeath 
unto my Son Thomas Cull the Sum of One hundred 
pounds to be paid him at the end of Twelve months 
next after my Decease Lastly All my Household 
Goods and furniture place Linnen and China Mortgages 
Bonds Notes of Hand ready Money Book Debts and all
the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate of
every Nature or Kind soever or wheresoever I Give and 
Bequeath unto them the said Stephen White Robert
Bacon and Thomas Bartlett and unto the Survivors 
and Survivor of them and the Executors Admors and
Assigns of such Survivors not for their own use and 
benefit But In Trust for the Use of her the before
mentioned Elizabeth Bacon Spinster otherwise Elizabeth 
Channing Widow in Order for her to Dispose of amongst 
her Children in such manner as she shall Judge most
proper (Chargeable with the payment of all my Just
Debts and Funeral Expences and with all Cost and charges 
attending the Execution of hte Trusts by me reposed in my
before mentioned Trustees And Lastly I Do Nominate
Constitute and Appoint them the said Stephen White 
Robert Bacon and Thomas Bartlett Executors of this
my said last Will and Testament In Witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the said third
Day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand seven
hundred and Seventy two Richd Cull LS Signed Sealed 
and Delivered Published and Declared by the said Testator
Richard Cull as and for his last Will and Testament 
in the Presence of us who at his request and in his
Presence have Subscribed our names as Witnesses

This Will was Proved at London the third
Day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand
seven hundred and Seventy two before the Right
Worshipful George Hay Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or


Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully
Constituted by the Oaths of Stephen White the younger 
Robert Bacon and Thomas Bartlett the Executors named in
the said Will to whom Administration was Granted of all and
Singular the Goods Chattells and Credits of the deceased
they having been first Sworn by Commission duly to Adster
