In the name of god Amen in the iiiith Day of September the yere of or lord god
m??xx I Humfrey Browne of Bristoll marchannte beyng of good and PERfytte mynde laude
and praysenge be unto almyghty god ordeyn and make this my last will and testament ???
thie maner and forme folowynge that is to saye First I bequeth my soulle unto Almyghty
god my maker to or blessed lady virgyn and to all the saints in hevyn my body to be
buried wtn the churche of saint Stephyn in Bristoll after the dyscression of my wif
Itm I bequeth to my Mother Church of Worcetr xii d Itm to my Curat of saint Stephyn forti???

after my wiffs discression Itm I bequeth unto my wiffe Alys whome I make and ordeyne 
myn Executrix sole a howse wt a gardeyn adyoynyng to the same int he PARyshe of saint
phelipp wtn Bristoll and a howse wt a gardeyn sett and lying in marstret in the PARyshe
of saynt Stephyn wtn Bristoll To have and to holde the said ii howses wt the ii gardens 
to the aforesaid Alys my wyff durynge the terme of her lyff and after her decease 
to remayne unto the heires of my body lawfully begotten Itm I bequeth unto mr John Rovland
my Father in lawe whome I make ovrseer unto this my last will & for his labr I geve and
bequeth my best ring of gold weying i ounce & my best skarlet gown furred wt foynes In witnes
hereof I have subs??bed my name & putte my seale wt my ??? hand the day & yer above written
