In the Name of God Amen
I Rowland Beresford of Lincolnes Inne in the County of Middlesex Gent
being sick and weak but of a sound and perfect mind and memory (Praised be
Almighty God for the same) Doe make this my last Will and Testament in
manner and form following Imprimis I Give Devise and bequeath unto my
loving sister Susannah Lock Widow All my Lands Tenements and Hereditaments 
whatsoever as well Freehold as Leasehold to her and to her Heirs and Assignes 
for ever Item I Give and bequeath to my Niece Judith Lock Daughter of my
said sister Susannah Lock the full sume of Five hundred Pounds Item I Give 
and bequeath unto my loving Kinswoman Mary Beresford Wife of Richard
Beresford of Carolina the sume of One hundred Pounds Item I further Give 
and bequeath unto John Beresford Richard Beresford and Elizabeth Beresford 
Children of the said Mary Beresford the sume of Fifty Pounds apiece Item I
Give to the Honourable Mr Justice Dormer my very good Master the sume of 
Ten Pounds to buy him Mourning Item I Give to my very good friend Mr George 


Huxley of the six Clerks Office Ten Pounds to buy him Mourning Item I give to my
good friend and fellow Clerke Mr Bernard Francke of Serjeants Inne Chancery 
Lane London the sume of Ten Pounds to buy him Mourning All the rest of my
Goods Chattells and Personall Estate whatsoever I give and bequeath to my said 
sister Susanna Lock whom I doe name constitute and appoint full and sole 
Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have 
hereunto sett my hand and seale this six and twentieth day of December 
Annoq Domini 1719 Row: Beresford signed sealed published and declared as the
last Will and Testament of the Testator in the presence of us who subscribed 
our names as witnesses in the presence of the said Testator  Jno Humphreys
