Welcome to Dr. Ye's homepage. Currently, I am an associate professor with Department of
Mathematics and Statistics at Memorial University of Newfoundland (since September 2016).
I received my B.S. degree from Shandong University (Ji'Nan, ShanDong, China) in 2000,
and continued my mathematical education at Zhejiang University (HangZhou, ZheJiang, China).
In 2004, I became a Ph.D. student in the
department of mathematics at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH.
I got my Ph.D. degree in August 2009 under the guidance of Dr. Stanislaw Szarek and Dr. Elisabeth Werner.
During the academic year of 2009-2010, I
was a postdoctoral
fellow working with Dr. Alexander Koldobsky and Dr. Mark Rudelson from the department of mathematics at
University of Missouri, Columbia. I held a Fields-Ontario postdoctoral fellowship from July, 2010 to June,
2011. My supervisors were Dr. Benoit Collins and Dr. Matthias Neufang. I joined the faculty
of Memorial University of Newfoundland in July 2011.
Congratulate Sudan Xing, my PhD student who was awarded the AARMS Prize in the Summer 2018 poster session (of the 2018 CMS Summer Meeting). Congratulate Baocheng Zhu, my AARMS postdoc who received the "Chutian Xuezi" of Hubei province, China, in 2017.
