  • Announcements

  • A copy of the textbook for the course is on reserve in the library. It is available on strict 2-hour loan. There are also solutions manuals available on reserve, but they are listed under the course STAT2500, not 2501.
  • The lab sessions for the course will end on Wednesday, Nov. 26. You may attend either (or both?) of the two lab sessions, provided there is space available.
  • LAB PRINTING: It costs $0.05 per page to print in the university computer labs, and you must have money on your Student Card to pay for the printing.
  • Course evaluations were conducted on Monday, Nov. 24.

  • Our midterm test was held in class on Friday, Oct. 17 and was returned in class on Wed., Oct. 22. The average mark on the midterm was 22.75/30, or 75%. Congrats!

  • FINAL EXAM

  • The final exam schedule is out, and the the final exam for this course has been scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 9, noon-2pm, in SN-4083. The entire (tentative?) exam schedule is here.
  • COPIES OF OLD EXAMS. A booklet of old exams (from 1991-1993) is available for purchase in the math department's main office (3rd floor, HH building). The cost is $3 per booklet.

    Warnings: There are questions on each of these exams that cover material that we did not do in the course. Conversely, the exams don't ask questions on some stuff that we have covered. Also, the exams don't include solutions.
