My area of research is mathematical physiology. For my Masters degree I am investigating
the affects of delayed recurrent feedback on voltage oscillations
in muscle fibre. This work is based on the earlier work of Morris and Lecar,
who designed a Hodgkin-Huxley model to describe voltage oscillations in muscle fibres of the barnacle giant.
My MSc. supervisor is Dr. Andrew Foster, whose research is in the area of mathematical biology.
