Welcome to Dr. Ye's homepage. I am an assistant professor with Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Memorial University of Newfoundland (since July 1, 2011).

I received my B.S. degree from Shandong University (Ji'Nan, ShanDong, China) in 2000, and continued my mathematical education at Zhejiang University (HangZhou, ZheJiang, China). In 2004, I became a Ph.D. student in the department of mathematics at Case Western Reverve University, Cleveland, OH. I got my Ph.D. degree in August 2009 under the guidance of Dr. Stanislaw Szarek and Dr. Elisabeth Werner.

During the academic year of 2009-2010, I was a postdoctoral fellow working with Dr. Alexander Koldobsky and Dr. Mark Rudelson from the department of mathematics at University of Missouri, Columbia. I held a Fields-Ontario postdoctoral fellowship from July, 2010 to June, 2011. My supervisors were Dr. Benoit Collins and Dr. Matthias Neufang.

Read these (three) public articles about my recent research results on "Entanglement thresholds for random induced states" (jointly with G. Aubrun and S. Szarek).
