Minutes of the Annual Vestry Meeting of All Saints Church
The meeting was held in the School room ["Jan 23" or "Jany 3"] at 7 PM

I

Present The Rev A B S Stirling who acted as chairman and a large crowd of the
members of All Saints Church were present.

II

The Chairman opened the Meeting with Prayer and Mr Azariah King acted as
secetary [sic]

III

The Minutes of the Last Meeting were read by the secetary
confirmed and signed by the Chairman

IV

The Church Wardens accounts were then read by the Secetary showing
        Receipts $35.92
        Expenses  33.08
        Balance  $ 2.84

        Received from Tea Fund          60.05
            "      "  Other Business     2.24
                                      $ 62.29
        Expenditure                   $ 50.29
        Balance                       $ 12.00

It was then proposed by Mr Henry G Batson; seconded by Mr Alexander Barnes
that the accounts as read be accepted           carried

V

The Readers fee was then read by Mr Alan Penny showing the amt of $23.40 to
be divided among the 3 readers
viz Mr Alan Penny; Mr Edgar Miller & Mr Azariah King
After a short discussion about splitting up the money it was left in the hands
of the Chairman & Ch Wardens to divide the money
proportionally among the forenamed readers

VI

Contributions towards the assessment were then read by the Chairman showing

        Married men     65.60
        Young men       31.00
        Total           96.60

VII

The Sexton's fee was then read by the secetary showing an amount of $13.70
It was then proposed by Chairman seconded by Mr William Batson of (Wm)
that a vote of thanks be given to the Church Wardens & Sidesman for the
past year               carried

VIII

The Chairman now gave the people the offer to elect his warden.
It was then proposed by Mr William Batson of (Wm) seconded by Mr Nathan Penny
that Mr Ernest Penny be re-elected for the coming year          carried

IX

It was then proposed by Mr Francis Penny of John, seconded by
Mr William Penny that Mr Joseph Penny be re-elected as people's warden for
the coming year (carried)

X

It was then proposed by Mr Reuben Penny of (Jas) seconded by
Mr William Batson of (Wm) that Mr Alan Penny be re-elected as sidesman
for coming year         carried

Proposed by Mr Joseph Penny of Jas seconded by Mr Alexand Barnes that
Mr John Batson of Mr H G Batson be another sidesman             carried

These two Mr Alan Penny & Mr John Batson collects readers fee   carried

XI

Proposed by Mr Joseph Penny of (Jas) seconded by Mr John F Penny that
Mr John Penny of (Mark) be one of the sidesmen for coming year  (carried)

Proposed by Mr Nathan Penny seconded by Mr Ernest Penny that
Mr Nicholas Penny be another sidesman for coming year   (carried)

These two collects Sexton's fee

XII

It was then proposed by Mr Nathan Penny seconded by Mr Alexander Penny of (Jos)
that Mr Ambrose Penny be sexton for coming year         (carried)

XIII

The Peoples Warden than asked the chairman to read the rules of the synod
which were read by the Chairman

XIV

He than gave the sidesman an advise

XV

Nothing further being mentioned by the people the chairman closed the
meeting with Prayer
