The Annual Vestry Meeting of All Saints Church congregation, of which due
notice was given on the Sunday previous, was held in the School Room
2.45 PM Wednesday Jany 16/01

1st  Revd G.H. Field R.D. Chairman opened the meeting with prayer

2nd  Minutes of last Annual Vestry Meeting was read and confirmed

3rd  Chairman than read the Act of Synod relating to church wardens
     and vestries

4th  Chairman than read the acc of receipts received for board and windows sold
     from the Old Church
     also, account of what it was expended for, shewing,

        Receipts        $22.88
        Expenditure     $22.66
        Cr Balance        -.22

     which was handed over to general Church Acc

5th  Read Church Wardens acc for the past year, shewing,

        Receipts        $12.30
        Expenditure     $13.77
        Balance Dr      $ 1.47 - 1.37 = 10 [a cent sign appears here]

     As Mr Wm Batson Wm had $1.15 in hand left from paint and Oil for
     church yard fence in the fall of 99 it was voted with the
     22 [a cent sign appears here] above to go to pay off the debt
     leave a small balance of 10 [a cent sign appears here]

6th  Chairman moved a vote of thanks to the Church Wardens for
     their services during the past year
     seconded by R W Facey      (Carried)

7th  Chairman nominated Mr Jacob Penny Sr as his Warden for the coming year

8th  Proposed by Mr Nathaniel Penny seconded by Mr Reuben Penny Robt
     that Mr Peter Penny be elected Church Warden for the coming year
     Carried

9th  Moved by Mr Alexd Penny Jno seconded by
     Mr [a horizontal line appears here] Penny that Mr Charles Penny
     be elected Sexton for the coming year
     carried

     After a discussion of ways and means to pay the sexton the Chairman
     proposed that he would find $2.00 toward Sextons fee providing the
     Congregation find $10.00 Making Sextons Fee $12.00

10th Chairman than read Reader's Subscription [looks like "to"] Fee
     $10.80 by 23 persons

11th Chairman than read the names of those who had paid toward the Carpenter
     Bill on the New Church also the Receipts and Expenditure on the New
     Church from the Commencement shewing something over $1400 received
     and over $1300 expended leaving a balance in hand of a little over $100
     also, read assessment dues which appeared to be a little better than
     last year

12th Chairman closed the Meeting with Prayer
