Pike's in Carbonear Cemeteries

The following data was sent to me by Cecil J. Reynolds in 1989. I'm not sure where he got the information, so I don't know who to credit with doing the original transcriptions from the headstones.

Note that the 1855 burial below for Thomas Pike is (I believe) wrong. The document I have from CJR does say 1855, but the Carbonear Methodist burial records list no Thomas Pike buried in February 1855. They do, however, list the burial of a Thomas Pike, aged 100, on 25 February 1835.

25 Sept 2004 update: now that I've personally seen the headstone, I'm certain that 1835 is the correct year. I took pictures, which you can see for yourself here.

I'm also worried about the accuracy of other items below:

The parish records don't seem to have an 1856 burial for Jane Pike, but they do include the burial for a Jane Pike, aged 72, on 14 February 1836.
Edward T Pike is listed below as dying in 1883. The parish records show an Edward Pike buried on 24 April 1885 at age 87.
