I know that Sophie, her mother, entered the particulars of the births of her family in the family bible more than 60 years ago. The family bible has been in my possession since the death of my father 60 years ago

To whom it may concern: In answer to (3) the only thing Mrs Pike can remember is that her husband's mother attended her, there was no doctor. It would help matters considerably if this attached paper could be expedited. I took up residence at Summerville in 1907. The following year in August the aforesaid was born.
