I Sophia Pyke of Somerset Cottage Kingsdown
in the Parishes of St James & St Paul in the County of Gloucester & Wife of William
Pyke of the City of Bristol being desirous to settle my Worldly Affairs do hereby
make & declare this to be my last Will & Testament as follows I hereby give & 
bequeath to my daughter Sophia Pyke her Heirs Executors and Assigns for her
sole use & disposal the Capital sum of One thousand pounds which was invested in
the Navy 5 Pr Ct Government Annuities by and under a certain deed of Settlement
executed by my said Husband William Pyke securing the said Capital sum of One
Thousand pounds for my sole use right & disposal & vested in consequence by the
trustees under my late Fathers Will in the joint names of John Holcoul Esqr 
of Marlborough and Henry Pyke Esqr of Wick House in the County of Wilts Trustees
in my behalf under the said deed or marriage Settlement I also hereby give &
bequeath to my said daughter Sophia Pyke her Heirs executors and assigns for 
her sole use & disposal all other monies or securities for moneys which I may
have or be in any way entitled to at the time at my decease or afterwards and
also dividends which may have accrued or be due or the said Capital sum of One
thousand pounds secured to me under the said marriage settlement whether the
same then be invested in Government securities or in any other manner as well
as on any other monies or securities for moneys I may be possessed of or entitled to at
the time of my decease for her sole use interest benefit and disposal and I hereby
appoint her my said daughter Sophia Pyke to be my sole Executrix to this



my last Will & Testament And I hereby revoke all other and former Wills and
do declare this to be my last Will & Testament In Witness whereof I have to ???
sheet of paper set my hand & seal and have declared this to be my last Will &
Testament in the presence of two Witnesses who have in my presence and in
the presence of each other signed their names respectively as attesting Witnesses to my
signing and delivering and declaring this as my last Will and Testament
Sophia Pyke  April 26th 1826  LS  Signed sealed & delivered &
declared to be the last Will & Testament of the said Sophia Pyke in the presence 
of us who in her presence & in the presence of each other hereby subscribe our
names as attesting Witnesses to her execution of this instrument the word assigned
being erase & the word under being interlined previous to execution  William Vincent
No 3 Devonshire Buildings Redcliff Cresent in the Parish of Beaminster County of
Somerset  Clementina Vincent Wife of the said William Vincent

Proved at London 7th March 1837 before the Worshipful John Danben
Doctor of Laws & Surrogate by the Oath of Sophia Pyke Spinster the daughter the
sole Executrix to whom Admon was granted limited so far only as concerns all
the right Title and interest of the deceased in and to a certain sum of L1000
& all interest and dividends now due and hereafter to grow due thereon & all the
profit produce & increase therefrom arising and all benefit & advantage to be ???
received & taken therefrom which under & by virtue of a certain Indenture of
Settlement bearing date the 1st November 1804 She had a right to appoint &
dispose of & hath appointed & disposed of accordingly but no further or otherwise
or in any other manner whatsoever she having been first sworn duly to admr

On the 25th March 1837 Admon of the rest of the Goods Chattels & Credits
of Sophia Pyke (heretofore Wife of William Pyke) formerly of Somerset Cottage
Kingsdown in the Parishes of Saint James and Saint Paul in the County
of Gloucester afterwards of Clarendon Square Somers Town in the County of
Middlesex but late of Gravesend in the County of Kent Widow deceased was
granted to Sophia Pyke Spinster one of the natural and lawful Children of the
said deceased having been first sworn duly to administer
