This is the last Will and Testament of me William Pike late of
the City of Bristol Victualler but now residing at Berkeley in the County of Gloucester do make this my
last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say I give devise and bequeath all
and singular my real and personal estates whatsoever and wheresoever the same or any part
thereof may be situatre that I shall or may be possessed of or entitled unto at the time of my
decease whether in possession reversion remainder or expectancy unto my dear daughter and only
Child Sarah Merritt Pike her heirs executors administrators and assigns to and for her and
their own use and benefit for ever or according to the nature of tenure thereof subject to the payment
of all my just debts and I do appoint my said daughter sole Executrix of this my said Will which
I publish and declare to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have to this my said
last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of September one thousand
eight hundred and twenty five  William Pike  LS  Signed sealed published and declared by the
said William Pike the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the prsence of us who in
his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our
names as Witnesses  Wm Smith  Berkley   Thos Woolwright of Berkeley   Wm
Powell Junr of Berkeley



Proved at London 7th March 1826 before the Judge by the Oath of Sarah Merritt Pike
Spinster the daughter & sole Extrix to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn by Comon
duly to Admr
