This is the last Will and Testament
of me Walter Wiltshire Pike of the Parish of Westbury upon 
Trym in the County of Gloucester Retired Commander in the Royal
Navy First I direct my just debts funeral expences and all other
incident disbursements to be paid and discharged as soon as convenient
after my decease I give and bequeath unto my Sister Anna Selina Pike
Spinster all my household goods furniture plate linen glass china books and
wines whatsoever and wheresoever to and for her own sole and separate
use and disposal Also I give and bequeath unto my Sister Anna
Selina Pike Spinster aforesaid the sum of nineteen guineas Also I give
unto my Sister Jane Wickes Widow of Tetbury the sum of nineteen
guineas Also I give unto my Sister Mary White Wood Widow of 
Cheltenham the sum of Nineteen guineas Also I give unto my Sister
Sarah Pike Spinster the sum of nineteen guineas Also I give and
bequeath unto my Sister in law Louisa Pike Widow of my late brother 
George White Pike of Manchester the sum of Nineteen Guineas Also I
give unto my Nephew Thomas Davies of Tetbury  son of my late
Sister Harriet Davies Widow the sum of ten pounds It is my wish and
direction that these legacies to be paid as soon as convenient after my
decease Also I give and bequeath unto Thomas Marling Esquire
Saxonbury Hall Sussex and Thomas Allen Surgeon Bristol the



sum five guineas each to buy a ring as a token of my regard to both Also
I give devise and bequeath unto the said Thomas Marling Thomas 
Allen and Anna Selina Pike Spinster aforesaid all and singular my
messuages land tenements and hereditaments whether freehold copyhold
or upon what other terme the same are or may be held and whatever in
possession reversion remainder expectancy and wheresoever situate and all
the rest residue and remainder of my monie and securities of
money or monies in the funds or Rail Roads and all my Estate and
Effects both real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever and what
nature and kind or  sort soever not hereinbefore disposed of or any
produce or benefit annuity or any other advantage arising out of the
disposal of the aforesaid property or any part thereof To hold the same
them the said Thomas Marling Thomas Allen and Anna Selina
Pike Spinster aforesaid upon this special trust and confidance that the said
Thomas Marling Thomas Allen and Anna Selina Pike Spinster
aforesaid sand the survivors or survivor of them and the executors or
administrators of such survivor do and shall from and immediately after
my decease sell and dispose of all and singular my said real and 
personal estate and effects for the most monies that can be gotten for
the same and collect in all monies due to me and upon this further in
trust that they the said Thomas Marling Thomas Allen Anna
Selina Pike aforesaid do and shall put and place the monies to arise
by and out of my said real and personal estate and effects so to be
converted into money aforesaid out at interest upon land  govern-
ment or other sufficient securities and do and shall pay and apply the
interest and produce arising out of the aforesaid Estate and Effects
unto my Sister Anna Selina Pike Spinster aforesaid or otherwise to
permit and suffer her to receive and take the same for and during the
term of her natural life independently of and not subject or liable to the
debts control or engagements of any husband with whom she may
intermarry and I do hereby order and direct that the receipt or receipts
of my Sister Anna Selina Pike aforesaid shall alone be good and
sufficient discharge for the same And as to the said sum set apart and 
placed out at interest as aforesaid for the lifetime of my said Sister Ann
Selina Pike aforesaid and which must wait her decease It is my Will
and I do hereby order and direct that they the said my trustees or the
survivors or survivor of them the executors or administrators of such
survivor do and shall from and immediately after the decease of my
said Sister Anna Selina Pike aforesaid stand and possessed of whatever
property may have been devised by me at my decease to the aforesaid
Anna Selina Pike whether in money or monies then out at interest
or in whatever share or form or mode of security it may then happen
to be do and divide the same into six equal parts and shares and do and
shall pay one equal sixth part or share thereof unto my Sister
Jane Wickes Widow aforesaid her executors administrators or assigns
one other equal sixth part or share thereof unto my Sister Mary
White Wood Widow aforesaid her executors administrators or 
assigns one other equal sixth part or share thereof unto my Sister in
Law Louisa Pike Widow her executors administrators or assigns
one other sixth part or share thereof unto my Nephews Thomas
Davies of Tetbury and Charles Davies of London sons of my late
Sister Harriet Davies Widow of the late John Davies Surgeon of
Tetbury in the following proportions Two thirds of the above sixth
part or share to Thomas Davies and the remaining one third of the 
sixth part or share to Charles Davies aforesaid their executors 
administrators or assigns one other equal sixth part or share thereof
to Nathaniel Overbury Solicitor London and Edward Overbury 



of Jersey and Nieces Ellen wife of Thomas Fox Esqr of London and
Maria wife of Thomas Marling Esqre of Saxonbury Hall Sussex
aforesaid sons and daughters of my late Sister Elizabeth Overbury share
and share alike and as to the other remaining equal sixth part or share
thereof unto my Sister Sarah Pike Spinster aforesaid but should my
said Sister Sarah Pike aforesaid not be living at the time of the
decease of the aforesaid Anna Selina Pike It is my Will and I do 
thereby order that her equal sixth part or share thereof in the property
aforesaid be equally divided between my Nephew Thomas Davies
aforesaid nieces Mary Ann Wood daughter of my Sister Mary White
Wood Widow aforesaid and Elizabeth Wickes daughter of my Sister
Jane Wickes Widow of Tetbury aforesaid their executors administrators
or assigns and I do hereby nominate and appoint Thomas Marling
Thomas Allen and Anna Selina Pike aforesaid my Executors and
Executrix to this my last Will and Testament And Lastly I do hereby
revoke and make void all former Wills by me at any time or times hereto-
fore made and declare this only to be and contain my last Will and
Testament In Witness whereof I the said Walter Wiltshire Pike have to
this my last Will and Testament contained and written on four sides of
one sheet of paper to the first three sides set my hand and to this last
side thereof my hand and seal this sixth day of January one thousand
eight hundred and forty eight  Walter Wiltshire Pike  LS  Signed

Pike as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who
at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other and at
the same time have hereunto subscribed our Names and Witness

of Thomas Marling Thomas Allen and Anna Selina Pike 
Spinster the Sister the Executors to whom Admon was granted they
having been first sworn to wit the said Thomas Marling before The
Worshipful Robert Joseph Phillimore Doctor of Laws and Surrogate
and the said Thomas Allen and Anna Selina Pike by Comon duly to
administer
