In the Name of God Amen
I Susanna Pike of Marsh in the parish of Westbury and county of Salop
widdow being aged and somewhat weake in body but of pfect memorie
and understanding praised bee God Doe this twentie eighth day of
January in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred seaventie
seaven make this my last will and testament in manner and forme follwoing
First I bequeath my Soule to God that gave it hopeing in and by the meritts
of Christ Jesus my Redeemer to obtaine pardon of my Sins and life
everlasting and my body to bee buried at the discretion of my Executrix
hereafter named Item I give and bequeath to my sonne Joseph the summe of
fifty pounds to bee paid unto him by my executrix within one yeare after my
decease Item I give unto my daughter Upton one Iron Chest now in her
keepeing and possession Item I give unto my dauther Armitage some linnens
now in my possession Item I give and bequeath unto my said daughters 
Katherine Upton and Susanna Armitage one bond or obligacon of the sume
of Two hundred and fifty pounds due from Sr Edward Littleton to bee
equally divided between them Item I give and gequeath unto each and every
of my grandchildren now liveing the summe of five pounds to bee paid unto them
by my Executrix when they shall attaine to their full age Item I give devise
and bequeath unto my two sonns and two daughters vizt my sonne Joseph &
my sonne thomas and to my daughter Christian and daughter Mary All
the rest of my reall and personall estate that is my houses and buildings
in Iron Gate and all other my goods cattell and chattells whatsoever or
wheresoever to be equally divided betweene my said foure children in foure parts
or portions Item I constitute ordaine and appoint my daughter Christian to bee
the sole Executrix of this my last will and testament and that my funerall
expences be first satisfied out of my estate In witness whereof I have hereunto
put my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written the marke of the
Testatrix Susanna Pike Read published and acknowledged in the presence

Probatum fuit [this paragraph continues in latin, but has the date 7 June 1684:]
Septimo die mensis Junii Anno Domini Millimo Sexcemino octogemo quarto
[and appears to grant administration to:] Christiana Pike Executricis

[A subsequent paragraph is dated 17 February 1684:]
Decimo Septimo die mensis Februarii Anno Dni

[and appears to grant administration to:] Thomas Pyke filio
