This is the last Will and Testament 
of me Sarah Pike of Rodborne Cheney in the County of Wilts 
Spinster which I make publish and declare in manner following 
I give and devise unto my niece Elizabeth Pike all that my messuage 
or tenement with the orchard garden and appurtenances thereunto 
belonging situate in Rodborne Cheney aforesaid and now in my own 
occupation and all other my real estate whatsoever and wheresoever 
to hold the same unto and to the use of the said Elizabeth Pike and 
her assigns for and during the term of her natural life and from and
immediately after her decease I give and devise all and singular the 
same hereditaments real estate and premises with the appurtenances 
unto my great nephew Charles Pike the son of my late deceased 
nephew Charles Pike To hold to him his heirs and assigns for ever
I give to my niece Ann Evans widow of the late Reverend Arthur 
Evans a legacy of fifty pounds also to the above named Elizabeth 
Pike a like legacy of fifty pounds also to the said Charles Pike (my
great nephew) a like legacy of fifty pounds and to Ann Pike the 
daughter of my said late deceased nephew Charles Pike a like 
legacy of fifty pounds And as to all the Rest Residue and Remainder 
of my monies and securities for money and all my monies share or
interest in the public stocks or funds or in Government Long Annui-
ties and all my household goods furniture plate linen china chat- 
tels effects and personal estate whatsoever subject to the payment 
of my just debts funeral and testamentary expences and the said 
legacies above mentioned I give and bequeath the same unto my
niece Jane Large absolutely and in the event of her death in my
lifetime I give and bequeath the same unto between and amongst 
all and every the children of the said Jane Large in equal shares
And I nominate and appoint the said Jane Large sole Executrix 
of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal the twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord one thou-
sand eight hundred and thirty nine  Sarah Pike LS  Signed sealed 
published and declared by the said Sarah Pike the Testatrix as and 
for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her 
presence and in the presence of each other at one and the same 
time have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses 
James Bradford solicitor Swindon ???? ????? Lester Servant to the said Sarah Pike

Proved at London 1st Decr 1846 before the Judge by Oath of 
Jane Large widow the Niece the sole Executrix to whom admon was
granted having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer
