Also, if you are a male Pike/Pyke (or you know one) who may be willing to do a genealogical DNA test, then please check out the Pike DNA Project for which I am a volunteer coordinator. There are several Pike/Pyke families that are not yet represented in the project, and for whom participants are wanted.
The following photos were taken on the afternoon of 22 August 2004. I worked my way through the cemetery from east to west, going back and forth (i.e. north and south) along the way. Clicking on a thumbnail below will take you to the full image (taken with my digital camera set at "large super-fine" mode, which was probably way more detail than was really necessary).
Although I did take photos of every Pike headstone I managed to find, I don't claim that this is a complete set of images for the Pike tombstones in the cemetery.
For those headstones that have exact death dates, I have searched for obituaries. These obituaries I have placed online on this webpage.
