In the Name of God Amen
I Thomas Durell of the Parish of Saint Margarets
Westminster in the County of Middlesex Esquire Do
make this my last Will and Testament in manner
and form following (that is to say) Whereas there
now stands in the joint names of my Self and my
Wife Sophia Durel the Sum of Five hundred Pounds



Capital Stock New Southsea Annuities Second Subscription
now my Will and meaning is and I Do hereby give and
bequeath the same and all my Right title and interest
therein to my said Wife Sophia To hold to her her 
Executors administrators and assigns forever and as to
all other Stocks funds Moneys and securities for Money
whatsoever and wheresoever in the Kingdom of Great
Britain which I shall dye possessed of my Will and
meaning further is And I Do hereby give and bequeath 
all the interest dividends and Proceed that shall arise
accrue or be made therefrom unto my said Dear Wife
for and during the Term of her natural Life to the
intent and purpose that she may lay out and Expend
the same for the better support of her self and in the
Maintenance and Education of all and every such
Child and Children as I shall happen to leave at the
time of my Decease and from and after the Decease
of my said Dear Wife I Give and bequeath all
Such other Stocks Funds Moneys and Securities for
Moneys whatsoever and wheresoever in the Kingdom
of Great Britain together with all ???? interest dividends
and Proceed that shall arise accrue or be made
therefrom to and amongst all and every the Child and
Children which I shall leave at my decease if more
then one to be equall divided between them Share and Share alike
and if I shall happen to leave but One Child Then I Give and bequeath
the Same to Such only Child And in case I Shall happen to leave no
Child or Children at the time of my decease Then and in Such
case my Will and meaning further is and I Do hereby Give and
bequeath all the interest dividends and Proceeds that shall
Arise Accrew or be made from all Such other my Stocks Funds
Moneys and Securities for Moneys whatsoever and wheresoever
in the Kingdom of Great Britain unto my Brother Philip
Durel for his own use for and during the Term of his
Natural Life and after the decease of my said Brother
Philip Durel I Give and bequeath all such other my Stocks
Funds Moneys and Securities for Moneys whatsoever and
wheresoever in the Kingdom of Great Britain and all
the interest dividends and Proceeds that Shall Accrew arise
or be made therefrom unto and amongst all and Every the
Child and Children of my late Brother John Durell
that shall be living at the time of the decease of my said
Brother Philip Durell and also unto and amongst all and
every the Child and Children of my said Brother Philip Durell
that shall be living at the time of his decease to be
equally divided between them Share and Share alike And
if my Said late Brother John Durell and my said
Brother Philip Durell Shall leave but one Child living at
the time of his decease as aforesaid Then I Give and
bequeath the Same unto Such only child And all the
rest and residue of my personal Estate of what nature and
Kind soever and wheresoever and of Every part thereof



I Give and bequeath unto my said Dear Wife Sophia
and hereby revoking all or any other Will or Wills Codicil or
Codicils by my at any time heretofore made Do publish and
declare this to be my last Will and Testament and do also
hereby nominate and Appoint my said Dear Wife Sole Executrix
thereof In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand
and Seal this Eighth day of March in the year of Our Lord One
Thousand seven hundred and fifty five  Thos Durell  Signed
sealed published and declared by the said Thomas Durell
the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the
presence of us who at his request and in his presence and
in the presence of each other have Subscribed our names
as Witnesses thereto  Nath Geo Petre  Tho Gibbeson

This Will was proved at London the twenty
Ninth day of March in the year of Our Lord One Thousand
Seven hundred and fifty seven before the Worshipfull
Arthur Collier Doctor of Laws and Surrogate of the Right
Honourable Sir George Lee Knight Doctor of Laws Master
Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury 
lawfully constituted by the Oath of Sophia Durell Widow
the Relict and Sole Executrix named in the said Will To
whom administration was granted of all and singular the
Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased having been
first sworn duly to Administer the same
