In the name of God Amen I John Culyford of Drayton in the parish of Southpetherton and County of Somersett husbandman beinge very aged and weake of body but of perfect remembrance (Blessed be God) doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament the Seaventh day of December in the yeare of our Lord one Thousand six hundred Fifty and seaven in manner and forme followinge Vizt Imprimis I give and bequeath my Soule into the handes of Allmighty God And my body to Christian buriall Item I give unto Henry and Elizabeth the two Children of William Staple Twenty Shillings apeece to be paid in six monethes after my decease Item I give to Thomas the sonne of Thomas Pyke twenty shillings to be paid in six monethes after my decease Item I give to Robert Staple twenty shillings to be paid in Six monethes after my decease Item I give to Susanna Culliford my brother Hughes daughter three poundes to be paid in one yeare after my decease Item I give to Anne Culliford my brother Hughes daughter twenty shillings and to her Child twelve pence to be paid in one yeare after my decease Item I give to my brother John Culliford of Chard parish twoe shillings Item I give to Elizabeth my brother Johns daughter twenty shillings to be paide in one yeare after my decease Item I give to Robert the sonne of John Culliford my brother Twelve pence And to his two Children two shillings sixe pence a peece to be paid in one yeare after my decease Item I give to John my brother Johns sonne all my wearinge apparrell (exceptinge onely my best C????) to be delivered in fortnight after my decease if lawfully demanded Item I give to my wife Susanna all my household goods and all mine other goods not before given whom I make and ordaine my full and whole Executrix The marke of John Culliford Witnes hereunto John Greenway William Staple Thomas Pike This will was proved at London the Eighth day of the moneth of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord God accordinge to the ???puta- tion of the Church of England one Thousand six hundred Fifty Eight before the Judge for probat of Wills and grantinge Administracons lawfully authorized by the oath of Susan Culliford the relict of the said deceased and Sole executrix named in the said Will to whom was committed administracon of all and Singular the goods Chattles and debtes of the said deceased shee the said Susan being first sworne in due forme of lawe by vertue of a Commission well and truly to Administer the same
