					Greenspond Newfoundland
In the Name of God Amen I
David Burry Senr of Christchurch now residentt in Greenspond in the said
Island above written being through the abundant mercy & goodness of God
though weak in body yet of a sound & perfect understanding & memory and
calling to remembrance the uncertain state of this Transitory life do constitute
this my last Will & Testament & desire it may be received by all as such
I give & commit my Soul unto Almighty God in whom & by the merits of 
Jesus Christ I trust & believe assuredly to be saved at my decease I desire that
my body may be buried decent (without pomp) at the discretion of my
Sons my Executors hereafter named as to my Worldly Estate I will and
positively order that all my debts be paid by my Sons my Exors & First I give
to my two Sons George & David Burry all my Fishing Room dwelling
House Out Houses & every other thing thereto belonging with all my Boats Netts
& Craft of every description to be solely their Property & their Assigns for ever to
whom I have also with my Son Charles Burry from the time of my death 
the sum of two hundred & forty pounds 10s now in my joint Stock of the Consolidated
L 3 P Cent Annuities which makes 400 L Stock as P receipt in my possession
& received yearly for me by Mr Rd W Sleat my Attorney Merchant at
Christchurch the above sum with its Interest I freely give to my three
Sons George Charles & David Burry equal share to each also I give all
my remaining Monies now in the hands of Mr Rd W Sleat as above
to my aforesaid Sons George & David & do constitute them my Exors of
this my last Will & Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand & seal this eighteenth day of March in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred & eight  David Burry Senr  LS  In presence of us

St Johns    George Burry Eldest Son of David Burry Senr of Christchur
to wit      in the County of Hants but late of Greenspond in the Island of
Newfoundland Planter deceased maketh oath & saith that he believes this
to be the last Will & Testament of his Father & that at the time of his
making the same he was of sound mind & understanding & that he believes
the Signature to be that of his said Father  George Burry  Sworn the 30th
day of October one thousand eight hundred & ten before Tho Trimlett

On the 4th July 1815 admon with the Will annexed of the 
Goods Chattels & Credits of David Burry otherwise Burrey the Elder
formerly of Christ Church in the County of Southampton but late of
Greenspond in the Island of Newfoundland deced was granted to Richard
Wright Sleat Esquire the lawful Attorney of George Burry & David
Burry the Sons & Exors for the use & benefit of the said Exors now residing at
Newfoundland aforesaid he having been first sworn duly to administer
