In the name of God Amen I Margarett Browne of the Cittie of Bristowe widowe late wife of John Browne Marchannte and Alderman of the same Cittie beinge of good health and perfect memorie prayse be given to god therefore and knowinge that death is incident to all parsonnes and sudden- ly approcheth Do therefore ordaine and make my Testament containinge therein my last will in manner and fourme followinge First I bequeath my soule to Allmightie god my Creator And to Jhesus Christe my Savior and Reademer and to the holie ghoste my Sanctifer and preserver trustinge in the meere mercie of god the Father thoroughe the merritts of the Deere passion of his sweete sonne Jhesus Christe that I shalbe ac- compted in the nomber of those parsonnes that shall enioye the fruition of his glorie and to be placed amongest his elect in the kingdome of heaven. cloth with a doble Towell of the same Tenne napkins of the same Adn all my Childe bedd clothes eighte platters eight porringers eight sawcers my great panne my great crocke a paire of candle sticks and a Coffer Item I give to my servannte Alce Fortie shillinges in monie and allso a mourninge gowne and a petticote and two smocks and the rest of my wearing lynnen as kerchers parteletts &c I do give it betwene the fower Daughters of Robert Pendigrace Item I give to the hospitall at the Gaunts in Bristoll the somme of Tenne poundes in monie And allso I give to the house of Correction in Bristoll the somme of Tenn poundes for a s??cke to sett poore people ??????
