In the name of God Amen The
Twentie third daie of March in the yere of our Lord God
one thowsand Six hundred Fiftie and seaven I Henry Barns
of Litchet Minister in the Countie of Dorset Husbandman being
sick of bodie but of perfect mind I thank my God doe make and
ordeine this my Last will and testament in manne and forme
following I give and bequeath my Soule unto Allmightie God my
maker and redeemer And my bodie to be buried in the Churchyard of the
Parish of Litchet of Litchet Minster Also I give and bequeath unto my
brother Will Barnes living in the Isle of Weight in the parish of
Shorrell Six pounds And all my wearing Apparrell (Except one Jacket
which I usuallie weare and one paire of busgans) and the same to be
paid within twelve monethes after my decease And if my brother die before
he comes to receive it then the same shalbe paid to his F??? Children wch



He ???? had ??ead?? by this his present wife Also I give unto John Barnes ye
sonne of William Barnes in the Isle of Weight in the parish of Briston fortie Shill-
ings to be paid within one yere after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto
Robert Barnes the Sonne of Roger Barnes deceased in ??iston T???ing in the parish
of Canford Fortie Shillings to be paid within one yere after my decease Also I
give unto Nicholas F??? tenne Shillings and my grey Jacket and busgans to be
paid within Twelve monethes after my decease Also I give and bequeath unto
Marie the wife of Robert King of Mooretowne within the parish of Cranford
fortie Shillings to be paid within twelve monethes after my decease Also I give
& bequeath unto Patient Barnes the daughter of Roger Barnes deceased in the
parish of Milton int he Countie of Southampton One Silver spoone to be delivered
unto her after the decease of Katharine my now wife Also I give unto Marie
the wife of Jeffery Mudge one Ewe and Lambe within one moneth after my de-
cease Also I give unto the poore of the parish of Litchet Minster thirtie five
Shillings to be given within half a yere after my decease by my wife Katharine
Barnes to whom she shall think fit All the rest of my goods and Chattles
noveable and unmoveable I give and bequeath unto my wife Katharine Barnes
of Litchet Minster in the Countie of Dorset whom I make my sole true and Lawfull Executrix
of this my Last will and testament And I utterlie Revoke and make voyd All other
former testamts or willes whatsoever by me in anie wise before this time named willd
and bequeathed In witnes whereof I have hereunto subscribed my Hand
and Seale unto this my present will and Testament the daie and yere above
written  Henry Barnes his marke  In the presence of Theophilus Skutt  Katha-
rine Woode her mark  Marie Mudge her mark

This will was Proved at London The five
and twentieth daie of Februarie one thowsand and Six hundred Fiftie
eight Before the Judges for probate of willes and grannting Administracon
Lawfullie authorized By the oath of Katharine Barnes the Relict and sole
Executrix named in the said will To whom was Committed Administracon
of all and singular the goods Chattles and debts of the said deceased She
being by Commission first sworne truelie to Administer the same
